If you've never used henna before, always perform a strand test to check color results. Using on dark brown and black hair will not result in a significant color change. Most color difference will appear on lighter hair colors and grays.
 
Storing your henna: Keep in a cool, dark place, away from heat and humidity. For best results, use within 6 months of opening. When stored properly henna can last more than a year. If not using within 6 months, mix & freeze, then thaw 8-12 hours before application.
